Who we are

WellCareChina (入境医疗网) is published by 北京泰舒安科技有限公司 (Beijing Taishu'an Technology Co., Ltd., "we"). We are the controller of the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at wecareu@wellcarechina.com.

What we collect

• The language you choose on the site. We store it in a cookie (pll_language) so the site opens in that language next time, and in your browser's local storage we remember that you dismissed the language suggestion bar.
• Standard server logs. Like any web server, ours records the page requested, the time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. We use this to keep the site working and to stop abuse.
• What you send us. If you email or message us, we receive whatever you choose to send — for example your name, contact details, and medical information you decide to describe.

We do not run analytics or advertising scripts, we do not embed third-party content, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we hold it

• your language choice: to show the site in the language you picked;
• server logs: security, troubleshooting and keeping the service available;
• your messages: to answer you and to arrange what you asked about.

How long we keep it

• language choice: until you clear it in your browser;
• server logs: no longer than 30 days, unless we must keep a record to investigate an attack;
• messages and any case information you send: up to 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted or anonymised.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use service providers (hosting, email) that process data on our instructions; we list them on this page before the site goes live. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to wecareu@wellcarechina.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site is for adults arranging medical travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you contact us about a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.

What we do not do

We do not give medical advice, we do not recommend doctors or hospitals, and we do not decide your treatment. Information on this site is general.

The contact form

This site has a contact form, at /contact/. It asks for a name, a country or region, a gender, an age, an email address, a condition and a message; only the email address is required. It does not ask for medical records or test reports — if you want us to see one, you send it to us yourself, by email.

What you send is used only to arrange medical consultation support and to contact you. It is kept for 12 months after our last exchange and then deleted, it is not used for profiling or marketing, and it is not sold. You can ask us to delete it at any time: write to wecareu@wellcarechina.com with the subject Delete my data and we will delete the record we hold.

We also record when the form was sent, your IP address with its last part masked, and the page you sent it from. That is what lets us see abuse and answer a deletion request.

The form reaches us by email, and email is not end-to-end encrypted: a health detail you describe in the message travels with the same protection as any other email.

Changes

If we change this page we will update the date below; for material changes we will say what changed.
